PyOhio 2010 will be held at the Ohio Union at the Ohio State University. (see map)
Lodging
Several hotels are near the Ohio Union:
* The Blackwell, an on-campus luxury hotel, is offering a limited number of rooms at $109 (plus tax and valet parking). Ask for the PyOhio room rate. The Blackwell is approximately 1 mile's walk from the Ohio Union. Directions from The Blackwell. Reserve by July 7 to get this rate!
* The new Holiday Inn and Suites offers free hot breakfast and free transportation to and from campus. Bus 18 also runs from the Holiday Inn to the Ohio Union.
* The Red Roof Inn on Ackerman Road is near campus and located on COTA bus line #018. Hotels anywhere on High Street, like the Hampton Inn Downtown, are relatively convenient thanks to the #2 bus line running on High Street. Transit directions from Hampton Inn

Parking
The Ohio Union has two dedicated parking garages charging $3/day for off-peak parking. The entrance to both of them is from the driveway immediately north of the Ohio Union on High Street.

Travel
State route 315 is under heavy construction and many of the campus area exits will be closed. See details from ODOT, and OSU map for avoiding blockages.
Intercity Bus
* Megabus service runs from Chicago, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati to Columbus. The Ohio State University stop is located directly at the Ohio Union building.
* Columbus Greyhound Station at 111 E Town St
Local Public Transit
"By public transit" maps are available for Columbus on Google Maps; for example, see CMH airport to Ohio Union (Google Maps). On any Google Maps result for Columbus, there is a series of icons above to "A" and "B" (origin and destination) boxes representing car, transit, walking, and bicycling directions. We traditionally reserve at least one of our swag giveaway prizes for a user of public transit.
COTA lines 2, 18, 21, 31, and 84 pass down North High Street directly in front of the Ohio Union.
