Jason has worked with Python for over 20 years, contributing to a wide array of open-source projects including pywin32, setuptools, CherryPy, and CPython itself. As Executive Technical Director at YouGov, Jason applied principles of open-source development to run a global enterprise powered by Python applications and developed by remote developers around the world. Jason is passionate about advancing civilization through automation and believes the flexible yet high-level constructs of Python provides an ecosystem distinctly suited to this goal. Jason strives to converge an inherently divergent process of software development to best practices. Jason has recently joined Google as an SRE Manager.
