Madelyn Kapfhammer

Madelyn is a sophomore at Dickinson College, where she is combining her interests in both biology and computer science. In her first year at Dickinson her interest in bioinformatics increased significantly, along with her passion for programming. Through many amazing mentors, her passion for computer science has grown significantly since her first Microsoft Visual Basic Class in ninth grade. The first language (other than visual basic) that Madelyn learned was Python, and she is looking forward to developing more projects with Python in the future.
