Al Sweigart (rhymes with "why dirt") is a software developer, tech book author, artist, and Fellow of the Python Software Foundation. His books include Automate the Boring Stuff with Python, The Recursive Book of Recursion, and The Big Book of Small Python Projects. He is the maintainer of several open source projects, including PyAutoGUI and pyperclip. He enjoys writing software, creating digital art, fostering cats, donating platelets, folding origami, and picking up litter.
