Rachell Calhoun

Rachell is a co-founder of Djangonaut Space and a Django developer. She loves building practical, user-friendly tools and creating communities where people walk away with new skills, confidence, and some new friends. She has organized Django Girls workshops across multiple countries and continents for over 10 years, an experience that inspired and informed her to co-found Djangonaut Space. She also currently serves as a trustee for Django Girls, alongside organizing both PyLadies and DjangoCon US events. Outside of open source, she can be found salsa dancing, jogging, or playing guitar, mostly just for an audience of her two very judgy cats, Mio and Beka.
