Rodrigo Silva Ferreira is a developer tooling and AI practitioner with a background in scientific computing and QA engineering. He is passionate about helping developers and data scientists spend less time fighting infrastructure and more time building. To do so, he aims to help create intuitive, trustworthy tools, workflows, and product experiences designed around real user needs.
His work spans developer tooling, software quality, interactive computing, technical communication, and open-source collaboration. He has contributed to projects across the Python ecosystem, collaborated with engineering, product, and developer communities, and shared his work through technical writing and conference talks.
Rodrigo is particularly interested in how AI is reshaping software development. He believes the next generation of developer tools will be defined not only by increasingly capable models, but also by thoughtful testing, product design, reproducible workflows, and developer experiences that help people move from experimentation to production with confidence.
This is Rodrigo's third time speaking at PyOhio, and he's excited to be back!
